Was Buddy in Six String Samurai voiced by Jeff Falcon?

I know the voices were supposed to sound very voiced over, but was Jeff using his own voice? I could swear he sounded like Steve Blum, the voice actor for the american versions of Spike(Cowboy Bebop) and Mugen(Samurai Champloo)... Am I crazy?
