My throat and the inside of my ears hurt when i swallow=[?

it all started a couple of days ago...im not congested(or stopped up) and im not coughing or sneezing...i been taking antibiotics, advil liquid gels, bendril liquid gels, and a bunch of other pills...the only times i felt better is when i eat some oat meal on the stove and take a shower...so i went and purchased a 44 dollar humidifier and i guess ill eat some more oatmeal and i missing anything and is there anything i can do to get rid of this quick cause i cant go to the doctor because i cant miss work...
